MC Magika
MC Magika, sometimes credited as M•A•G•I•K•A, is a British MC, music producer and rave promoter.〔Back To The Oldskool, (MC Magika Interview )〕 He has been regularly featured on the UK breakbeat compilation ''Dreamscape'' series, and on the mega-hit dance music compilation ''Dancemania'''s ''Speed'' sub-series. Born in Birmingham, England,〔 he started MCing in around 1989 at a club located in Birmingham.〔Obsession, (MC Magika Profile )〕 He later met with Carl Cox and performed with the DJ for 5 years during the early 1990s.〔Fantazia, (MC Magika - Fantazia Exclusive Interview 2005 )〕〔MC Magika, (Official MySpace )〕
His first appearance on the ''Dreamscape'' series was on the 1993 issue, ''Dreamscape 6'', where the crews included Slipmatt, Dougal, Dave Angel, LTJ Bukem, Carl Cox and MC Conrad.〔Discogs, (Dreamscape VI )〕 He appeared on a total of 7 issues of the series, ''6'', ''7'', ''8'', ''11'', ''14'', ''22'', ''24'', in the 20th century.〔
In 1999 he made his first ''Dancemania'' appearance on the third issue of the ''Speed'' series with his track "Flashdance (What A Feeling)".〔Discogs, (Dancemania Speed 3 )〕 He made a number of appearances on the ''Speed'' series and its sub-series albums including ''Classical Speed'' in the early 2000s. Many of his tracks on the series were co-recorded with fellow British DJ Kambel.〔
